Over the past 20+ years, I've worked at the intersection of design and systems, and I've come to believe that's where the most interesting problems live.

My background is in graphic design: visual identity, packaging, brand, the craft of making things look and feel right. But somewhere along the way I became just as interested in the infrastructure behind creative work. How assets are organised, how teams collaborate, how complex projects actually get over the finish line.

I spent nearly a decade building and evolving Carlsberg's global Digital Asset Management platforms, growing the function from the ground up, leading the team, and eventually moving into a senior expert and advisory role as the operation matured.

Since 2016 I've run Stillman, my own studio, working across design: brand identities, campaign visuals, design management, often for clients who need someone who can both execute and direct.

I work as an independent consultant, remotely or hybrid, and I'm drawn to projects where clarity is needed. Where things are a bit tangled, the stakes are real, and a good outcome matters to the people involved.
